Your Support Saves Lives. Now Your Name Flies With Them.
Every year, our network of 2,000+ volunteer pilots flies thousands of endangered sea turtles to safety, giving them a second chance at life when they need it most.
We decided to give our donors everything we have.
From the banana boxes (yes, really) that transport turtles on every flight, to the aircraft that make rescue missions possible, to exclusive behind-the-scenes access where supporters can witness these lifesaving operations firsthand. Those who choose to stand with us this season can put their name on a rescue box, sponsor an aircraft, or experience a mission up close.
Your support helps us continue saving endangered sea turtles and keeps our volunteer pilots flying coast to coast.Which level can we count on your support?
How Turtles Fly Too Missions Are Conducted
Turtles Fly Too conducts wildlife rescue and conservation transport using a mission-driven, safety-first operational model that complies fully with FAA regulations. Depending on the specific requirements of a mission – including factors such as distance, urgency, weather, partner agency needs, animal welfare considerations, and aircraft availability – missions may be conducted in one of the following ways: Volunteer-supported general aviation flights operated under FAA Part 91, orProfessionally chartered aircraft operated by FAA-certificated Part 135 air carriers, orScheduled or chartered air transport provided by FAA-certificated Part 121 air carriers, when appropriate for the mission The appropriate regulatory framework for each mission is determined in advance and based solely on operational needs and regulatory requirements relating to that particular mission.
Important Clarification Regarding Donations and Flights
Donor contributions support Turtles Fly Too’s conservation mission as a whole – including coordination, logistics, animal care, equipment, and program operations.
Donations do not determine how any mission is flown, and donor recognition or benefits do not include air transportation, flight participation, or access to aircraft operations.
Aircraft selection, crew assignment, routing, and regulatory authority are determined independently of fundraising activities and are never influenced by individual donations.
About Our Aviation PartnersWhen mission requirements call for professionally chartered aircraft, Turtles Fly Too works with FAA-certificated Part 135 and Part 121 air carriers that conduct flights under their own operational control, certificates, and safety programs. These flights are arranged solely to meet mission and partner requirements and are operated entirely in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.
Supporting the Mission
Your support helps ensure that endangered wildlife receives timely, safe transport and care when it matters most. Contributions fund the mission – not a seat on an aircraft – and allow Turtles Fly Too to remain flexible, compliant, and focused on conservation outcomes.
