'This evening my husband was fishing on the jetty when he saw a giant sea turtle stranded on the beach. Someone had called the Avalon police. Two police vehicles showed up, and they called the Marine Mammal Stranding center. They came and with the help of a few local people (one of which is my husband Greg) in video, they were able to get the turtle safely into the vehicle. Hugh R. shot this video and told my husband I could send it to you.'
